 Welcome to Keepers at Home. A place to encourage and advise countercultural women who are considering homemaking as a full time job; and giving affirmation and encouragement to those women who already are.

 When/if you comment on this blog, please keep in mind what the purpose of this blog is.

 Things that this blog IS:

• Somewhere to ask like-minded women for advice and council about living a countercultural life at home, caring for your family.

• A place to ask appropriate questions and discuss the benefits, and difficulties, of sacrificing college and career for family.

Things that this blog is NOT:

• Not a place to complain about husbands and/or children. They are from God, given to you for you to love, to serve, and to protect their reputations. This is not an opportunity to vent about how difficult they make your life, even if they do cause difficulties. If you would like prayers or advice, please ask in a way that will not injure the reputations of anyone, only speaking of your family in the best light. (Leviticus 19:18)

• Not a place to shame anyone for their life choices. 

• Not place to share inappropriate or intimate details about your life or family.
